Operating in the Rural Municipality of Dauphin, Manitoba since 1898, the Riverside Cemetery is a perpetual care cemetery serving those that have passed on and their loved ones.

About Our Cemetery

Established in 1898, Riverside Cemetery is a non-profit, perpetual care cemetery. It is in the RM of Dauphin at the end of Riverside Road, the cemetery is supported by the RM of Dauphin and the City of Dauphin.

Operations are decided by a Board of Directors consisting of two RM of Dauphin Councillors, two City of Dauphin Councillors and a Community Chairperson. The Cemetery’s income comes from plot sales and interments. The office is located at the entrance of the cemetery to assist the public and has a part time office administrator and a full-time grounds keeper.

We currently have 11 blocks total, with an Old Legion, New Legion and a Cremation Garden area (formerly CLMN) just behind the office to the north. We are currently in the process of establishing the columbarium sight, there will be more to come on that soon.

Many families come for walks to our cemetery to visit those no longer with us, they enjoy the tranquility and peace that makes Riverside Cemetery so easy to stroll.
